Notes supplied by Maureen Neild:- Thomas was listed as a farm baliff in 1881 census for Upton St Leonard, Gloucestershire, at 220 Gloster Road, Saintsbridge Farm.
The familly tombstone (now broken in half) lies in the corner of the church yard to the right of the entrance by the hedges. I got the records of this family from the tombstone, baptismal, and burial records. Included in the burial and on the tombstone is Elizabeth Meecham age 28 years buried 5 January 1893 who wa the wife of Charles Meecham also Simeon Topps lived opposite the Meechams when they were in Saints Bridge and it was their daughter Hannah who eventually married Henry Thomas Meecham, she was a dressmaker.
