1871 Census shows John 1833 (38), born Ireland, a Coal Miner, living at 19 Pather Street with Ann 1841 (30), born Edinburgh also daughter Ann 1863 (8) born Overtown, Elizabeth 1861 (10) born Wishaw and William 1865 (6), born Bothwell. Siblings Jean and Thomas are shown at 1 Simpson School with Thomas Dudgeon, which is the next address shown on the enumerators round.
