The 1841 Census shows Thomas, with his wife Hannah and children, A near neighbour is Christiana Richardson - a spinster.
In 1851 Thomas, a Shoemaker is living at No 8 South Terrace, West Cliff, Whitby along with his Mother in Law Elizabeth Taylor, his wife who is shown as Catherine and two children - Sarah and Ann
The 1861 census shows Thomas - still a shoemaker and his wife (again shown as Catherine), Mother in Law and two children at the same address.
Thomas is buried in the family grave of John Taylor and Elizabeth Taylor - his in laws at Sneaton church.
